Jade and Diamond Pendant Earrings

Jade and Diamond Pendant Earrings

These quintessential art deco pendant earrings showcase the classic twenties color scheme of green (jade), black (enamel) and white (diamonds and platinum) as well as the innovative pavé setting, in which gems “paved” the entire surface of the mount. The workmanship is impeccable.

The jade surmount encircles a bezel-set diamond, and is framed with jet enamel. Verdant jade drops are engraved with blossoms and leaves, speckled with diamonds, and capped with pavé diamonds and enamel. Suspended by a platinum chain of pavé-set circular links with diamond and onyx enamel end caps. Note the contrasting surfaces of silken matt enamel, undulating carved jade and the radiant diamonds. The strong vertical lines, vivid color scheme and luxe texture combinations are as seductive today as they were in their heyday. Housed in the original lizard fitted box.
